Spread The Love

Go out they said, make “real world friends” they said, It’s easy like clicking your fingers they said…
Spoiler alert: I cannot click my fingers.

You know you’re in an internet age when even those who you do know in person are near to impossible to hang out with because something always turns up. But yet you constantly are seeing them or others hanging out with others, seeing the enjoyment and company they have. And all they can say is sorry.

Then your distant “unreal” friends would kill to get to hang out even just once in person with you, but too much distance stands in the way.

Go to some sort of social clubs they say. That has always ended up: “So you don’t go there anymore? Farewell to you then.”.

I’ll create friends on my own terms out of freedom thank you.

But then you thirst just hanging out with someone and when you do ask anyone if they want to hang out, either you’re immediately just turned down or have your hopes put up.

Then you go trying to befriend some new people because everyone just wants a friend. But no body seems to accept a friend even though they are looking for one.

Really does suck. Hate that it just makes you bloody jealous looking and seeing others with their groups of friends.

But then it’s bloody deceptive. It’s the same story. You’re jealous of looking at someone’s “happiness” and crave for it too, but do you know what you’re really craving for looking at their “happiness”? It may not really be happiness. That group of friendship may not be as close as it seems. They may hardly even know each other.

It’s easy being jealous, hurt and being let down. When you’re looking at others craving for what they seem to have, don’t you realise people do as well to you?

You have something others would kill for, whether it be you, your skills or the friendships you do have, regardless of how amazing they may be or not be to you.

Love what you have. And if you are trying to get more, don’t ask, offer.
Don’t ask people to be friends because you need a friend, offer them your friendship incase they need a friend.

Spread the love, even if you receive little. It’ll get you what you’re looking for.
