Putting Your Issues Into Perspective

Putting my issues in perspective with other things, it doesn't cancel out whatever I have, nor should it. We all have our own issues that have meaning regardless of the fact there is always someone going through worse.

But it is seeing the hope in others that still lives on triumphing pain and the worst of humanity. Let this be a reason for you to discover and hold on to hope yourself, know that life goes on whatever we go through.

It's alright to break down, have a cry, need a shoulder to lean on. But don't let yourself be contained by pain. Pain only feeds on pain. Being contained by it will only drag you down worse.

Blast your music if it stops you doing something you might regret. Go out for some fresh air, maybe take a hike and photograph the beauty you find among the darkness. Write your mind and don't be shamed down from sharing it.

People will always try and shout you down from higher ground, but you are your own person. What you do with this darkness inside, only you can decide. Use this to your advantage, continue climbing higher and don't let others control your life.
